Just a moment to brag
There is nothing I love more then to talk about my kids. Sure they have their bad days, but don't we all. I have loved the past 2 years 3 months 2 weeks and 4 days watching my baby Grace grow into toddler Grace. I am now watching toddler Grace grow into a beautiful little girl. She has the most beautiful eyes with long dark eyelashes. She is very hyper and full of energy. She seems to bring a smile to everyone's face when we are out. She certainly has her own little personality and is one of a kind! She has a strong will and a mind of her own and I just know that she will grow up to be a strong woman one day. She is so smart already. She has a baby V-Smile that she has started to play with now. It will show a colour on the screen and she has to push the corresponding colour on the control pad. She gets it right every time! She knows her animals and what sounds they make. Her favourites are ducks and pigs. She is also beginning to say more words. Last night she was trying to turn the lights off and hit the switch to the outside light so nothing happened in the house. She looked at me and said, "didn't work". It saddens me to think that before I know it she will be growing into a teen and then into a women.
It is hard to believe that it has been 4 months 2 weeks and 3 days since I gave birth to my baby boy. Logan is growing so fast. He already weighs in at near 17 lbs and is 7 inches longer then he was when he was born. He has already started rice cereal and loves it! I can already tell that he is going to love to eat. He has discovered his hands and enjoys looking at them for minutes on end. Yesterday morning her discovered his voice, so high pitched squeals were his entertainment that morning. I have already noticed the difference in Grace and Logan's baby personalities. Grace was so high maintenance and still is, but that is what makes her Grace. Logan is so laid back. He will just sit in his chair or lay on the floor while both Matt and I are tending to Grace. He just loves to look around and watch life go by. He is so full of smiles that just melt your heart. I promised myself that I would enjoy every minute of his babyhood, but it is escaping me faster then I counted on. I look forward to Logan learning to crawl, walk and talk. I truly believe that the toddler age is the best. I already have my hands full with the Gracie girl, but I can't wait to have Logan following behind her. Hey at least they will keep me young and fit. They are as different as night and day and both have their own little personalities. They truly are our precious little gifts from God.
