More Drs Appointments
On Wednesday Logan had his 4 month check and Grace a follow up for everything that happened last week. On Tuesday I noticed Grace wasn't herself, but didn't think too much about it because she is teething right now. Her second molars are trying to come in. On Wednesday morning I knew something was wrong with her. I went back to her room and she was burning up. Her face and arms were red from the fever and she was fussy. I took her temperature and it was 103! She refused to eat and drink and all she wanted to do was lay around. I gave her Motrim right away and got her to drink a few gulps of drink. The fever started to go down, but it took about 2 hours for it to break completely. She was a little better after that, but not much. I notice that her balance was off a little, probably one reason why she didn't want to get up. I called the Dr and they said that it was fine to keep her follow up and they would check her out then. She crawled up on the couch and 10:15 that morning and fell to sleep. I didn't want to move her, so I just left her there. 2:15 pm rolled around and my little muffin was still sleeping. Our appointment was at 3 pm so I had to wake her up to go. Logan went first and we found out that our little fatty weighs 16 lbs 6 oz and is 26 inches long. He is in his 75 th percentile for height and weight. His head circumference is 44 cm, which is in the 85th percentile. Matthew has affectionately given him the nickname "fat head". He does have fat cheeks. Gotta love them. Logan has started rice cereal and LOVES it! He smiles, squeals and kick when he sees it coming. OK, now back to Grace, the Dr looked at her and said she has a double ear infection along with a cold. Poor girl. The good news is he said nothing was in her chest, so that was a relief. She was on Augmentin for the pneumonia, so they had to give her another antibiotic called Omnicef. By that night she was feeling much better. She is still acting like her ears hurt today, but hopefully she will be doing better after her nap. We are hoping for an uneventful week next week.
